MicroNews is an organisation consisting of various micronational news services. We exist to create a connected network of news services, allowing people to find news from any nation.

Joining MicroNews
MicroNews is open to new members. Any news organisation looking to join can do so in our official Discord server.
Guidelines
Not every article published by MicroNews members are included in the programme. We have quality and content guidelines which must be followed in order for an article to be included.
Quality and content guidelines
- All article must be written in the English language, to a fluent standard (excluding media such as images, videos and external content).
- The article must relate to the nation that the news service is registered in.
- The article must be written in neutral language (excluding quotes or stating others’ opinions- a range of opinions should be included for balance).
- The article must not be discriminatory or inappropriate in any way (excluding reporting on incidents or topics in a neutral way that avoids inflamatory or inappropriate language or content).
- The article must not contain any advertisements, excluding links and resources to learn more about the registered nation.
These guidelines may be updated at any time.
Membership guidelines
- Any micronational news service may become a member of MicroNews.
- Every micronational news service must publish at least one article within any period of six months that meets our quality and content guidelines- failure to do so will result in suspension from MicroNews.
